Federal Research Division:  Country Studies -- " a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world."  From the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress.

globalEDGE --  a knowledge web-portal that connects international business professionals worldwide to a wealth of information, insights, and learning resources on global business activities.  Created by the Center for International Business Education and Research at Michigan State University (MSU-CIBER). 

Maps.com -- An online world atlas.  Some of the information that you can find might include the following:  a currency converter, country statistics, weather, airport maps, and time zones.

National Geographic Online -- Information you might find here on your country includes maps, time zones, language translator, weather, flags, facts, an atlas, and a dynamic map.

U.S. State Department -- Countries and Regions

CIA World FactBook --  An excellent source!  Information that can be found on this site includes geography, people, economy, communication, transportation, military, transnational issues, and government.  Government information includes constitutions, national holidays, political parties and leaders, diplomatic representatives in the U.S. and from the U.S.   Maps with main cities are included along with the flag of the country in color.
