Databases with a Biology/Medicine focus:
Biological Abstracts  -- a complete collection of bibliographic references covering life science and biomedical research literature published from more than 4,000 journals internationally. This database contains more than 10 million archival records from as far back as 1969, with more than 370,000 citations added each year
*new*  Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences -- a collection of e-books of lectures on cell and molecular biology and biomedicine, including the neurosciences.  New series and lectures are added continuously and existing lectures will be revised as needed.
CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics -- full text handbook covering biochemistry, chemistry and physics   *not included in ENGnetBASE*  
Health Source:  Nursing/Academic Edition  -- index to nursing and allied health journals 
MEDLINE  --  provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more
Plants Database (USDA) --  provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories
Science Citation Index   --  Researchers can search citation data (from the footnotes of each article), taking a known, relevant paper or work and finding other, more recent papers that cite it.
ScienceDirect College Edition - Health & Life Sciences Journal Collection  --  access to peer-reviewed health and life sciences journal articles
Databases with Related Sciences focus:
SciFinder Scholar (available only for Chemistry and Biochemistry majors as well as other designated students.  You must obtain a username & password from your professor)
State Academies of Science Abstracts  --  index to the publications of U.S. state academies of science
Science Signaling  ---   access to current literature and research pertaining to cell signaling (Formerly named  STKE)

Academic Search Premier  -- scholarly collection provides journal coverage for most academic areas of study
LexisNexis Academic   -- provides full text and citation access to information in the reference, business, medical, and legal disciplines
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online   --  includes the complete encyclopaedia, as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and the Britannica Book of the Year
Oxford Reference Online Database   --  full text of dictionaries, general reference, language reference, and subject reference works from Oxford University Press
