Databases with a Chemistry focus:
Biological Abstracts 
CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics  -- full text handbook covering biochemistry, chemistry and physics   *not included in ENGnetBASE*  

Cambridge Structural Database --  now has a web interface (use this for simple quick searches --- the in-depth and full-scale version available only in Rockwell Hall, Room 201)

Engineering Village 2  -- access to Compendex, ENGnetBASE and US Patent Office   
MEDLINE --  provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more  
Science Citation Index   --  Researchers can search citation data (from the footnotes of each article), taking a known, relevant paper or work and finding other, more recent papers that cite it.
SciFinder Scholar (available only for Chemistry and Biochemistry majors as well as other designated students.  You must obtain a username & password from your professor)
 
Electronic Journal Collection:   
American Chemical Society Archives --  full-text searching and instant access to all titles, volumes, issues, and articles published by the ACS from 1879 to 1995 -- more info about ACS
ScienceDirect College Edition - Health & Life Sciences Journal Collection  --   access to peer-reviewed health and life sciences journal articles
