JSTOR -- an online archive of academic journals in all fields. Articles generally become available here 3-5 years after publication.
MLA International Bibliography   -  consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore, and includes coverage from 1926 to the present. The MLA International Bibliography provides access to scholarly research in over 3,000 journals and series.
Project Muse -- Access to scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences. 
SocINDEX  --   Full text of journal articles, and indexing and informative abstracts for "core" coverage journals dating back to 1895.

CIA World FactBook --  An excellent source!  Information that can be found on this site includes geography, people, economy, communication, transportation, military, transnational issues, and government.  Government information includes constitutions, national holidays, political parties and leaders, diplomatic representatives in the U.S. and from the U.S.   Maps with main cities are included along with the flag of the country in color.
