Note:An Essay concerning Human Understanding was created by file comparing the 12th edition with the Fraser edition and arbitrating discrepancies with the 4th (the last lifetime edition) and 5th editions. Two Treatises on Government was created by file-comparing the 12th edition against the 1714 and 1728 editions, with two out of three arbitrating discrepancies. Page numbers were drawn from the Nidditch and Laslett editions (the standard editions) for the two works.
