Note:This program profiles several people with the HIV virus over the course of two years and examines the issues they face -- issues of medication, handling the emotional ups and downs, dealing with family members, paying for medical care and dealing with guilt. Interviewed are a drug abuser and her infected baby, a composer, a victim of sexual abuse and a steer wrestler. In addition to exploring traditional medical care, this program also examines alternative therapies and social support systems.
