Note:    A Bible commentary is just a book and, as such, must be cited like the type of book it is. This can be an edited book full of articles by various authors, a book in a series, one volume of a multi-volume set, or a combination.  

Here are a few examples to help you cite your source. If the commentary you are using does not seem to fit any of these examples, please consult the appropriate style guide or stop by the Reference Desk.


APA        

 

A Chapter in an Edited Book in a Multi-Volume Work (Such as the Expositor’s Bible Commentary or New Interpreter’s Bible.)
